Copa Airlines
Children Traveling Alone receive personalized service from the moment they arrive at the airport counter until they arrive at their final destination.
The following rules apply
Minors younger than 5 years old, always have to travel with a companion who is at least 18 years old.
Unaccompanied minors between 5 and 7 years old will only be accepted on direct flights. Additional charges will apply.
Unaccompanied minors between 8 and 14 years old can travel on direct flights and conecting flights with, or without, a plane change. Additional charges will apply.
Minors between 15 and 17 years old can travel with any itinerary as Meet and Assist passengers. Additional charges will apply.
Minors undergoing medical treatment will not be accepted for the Children Traveling Alone service.
Special information required
Copa needs the following information in order to accept children traveling alone. The best moment to give this information is when you are making the reservations:
Name and kinship of the person bringing the child to the airport.
Home phone number and address of this person.
Name and kinship of the person that will receive the child.
Home and business phone numbers and home address of this person.
When the child arrives at his/her destination, the person meeting the child has to present proper identification to ensure that he/she is the person on the form attached to the child's ticket jacket.
